Person of the Week

10.26.09

Today’s person of the week is really more like the persons of the week.  Nebiyu Ejigu, Mike Endale, Robel Kassa, and Bemnet Goitom.

Neb and Robel of Paradigm 84

Nebiyu Ejigu and Robel Kassa were the brains behind EA4C.org.  From the time they met with an EA4C representative and given an overview of our mission and our effort, Nebiyu and Robel bought into the concept completely.  Not only did they come up with the first design of EA4C.org,

Neb and Robel were also the genius behind the graphics design of the 09.25.09 and the ETHIOFEST flyers and posters.  Everyone knows about Neb and Robel, but their talents are not appreciated as fully as needed.  Neb and Robel are entrepreneurs who own and operate Paradigm 84, a first rate web design and graphics company; they have designed the web pages for wayna.net, africanyellowpages.com, saembassy.org, rwandaembassy.org, and much much more.  Their work speaks for itself, and their dedication to Ethiopian-Americans for Change is unquestioned.  Neb and Robel are organizers with Ethiopian-Americans for Change.

Mike Endale of Blen Grafix

Mike Endale of Blen Grafix

Mike Endale is one of the cornerstones of Ethiopian-Americans for Change and a web-developer/technical guru extraordinaire.  Long before it was a trend to support Obama, Mike was having cookouts and spreading the word Obama as far back as the summer of 2007.  Mike and his business partner Ephrem Bekele are the brains behind Blen Grafix Inc. You can check out their work at esai.org, howthishappened.com, ethiotalkshow.com,  to name just a few of their amazing work.

Bemnet Goitom

Bemnet Goitom CEO of MGMP Group

And last but not least, when a last minute emergency arose, who stepped into the challenge?  Of course, none other than Bemnet Goitom, CEO of the well known and respected MGMP Group.  MGMP Group a media production company based in Washington D.C. They specialize in video production, special effects, motion graphics, graphic design, web design, Professional Photography, Computer Services(IT), Merchandise, Merchandise Design and coming soon Web Hosting. MGMP is a proud to offer award-winning motion graphic design skills for a wide variety of clients.

These three companies represent the very best of Ethiopian intellectual talent.  They also represent the very essence of Ethiopian-Americans for Change; through reaching out to our own, EA4C was able to leverage the rich talent that resides in our own community to establish ea4c.org.  Collective achievement leads to collective success.  YES WE CAN!
